How We Work
We aim to make the process simple, clear, and tailored to you from the very first point of contact.
Whether you reach out by phone, email, or through our website, we begin by asking a few key questions. This helps us understand your requirements and ensures we are fully prepared before arranging a consultation at your property.
Initial Enquiry
At this stage, we will guide you through a few important details:
Budget – Understanding your budget helps us recommend suitable fabrics and finishes. If you are unsure, we are happy to advise.
Hardware preferences – Tracks, poles, or specialist systems, so we can bring the right samples.
Number of windows – To understand the scale of your project.
Style preferences – Curtains, blinds, voiles, pelmets, or a combination.
Images or inspiration – Photos are extremely helpful and allow us to visualise your requirements.
Approximate sizes – Widths and drops help us provide a rough estimate.
If you are able to provide basic measurements, we can often give you an approximate guide price over the phone or by email before visiting your property.
Step 1. We would ask you how many windows you have to dress ?
Step 2. What style of curtains or blinds you would like ?
Step 3. Do you have any pictures ? A picture tells our designers and estimator a thousand words. This shows how we can fit curtains, voiles, blinds and pelmets.
Step 4. Do you have any ideas of sizes ? These are very helpful. Width and drops are all we require.
Step 5. A rough idea of price? We all like to know an approximate price. If a client has an idea of widths and drops per window even if they are approximate, we can then estimate and give you an idea of our costs.
Step 6. Once we have established that the costs are in line with your budget, we will arrange for one of our designers to come your property and assess your requirements.
Step 7. Our interior design service covers everything including measuring estimating, choosing Fabrics, Trimmings, Blinds, poles and tracks. An interior design consultation starts From £30 and based on how many windows. This is refundable against your total order. On orders over £500. Just book our interior designer and they will come to you in the comfort of your property.
Step 1. On arrival at your property we will measure and photograph all windows. We will discuss all design and fabric options.
Step 2. We will discuss all types of tracks, poles and fittings showing you a large selection of designs from our photographic catalogue & examples of our works. These designs can be emailed to you upon request.
Step 3. Once you have chosen your fabrics, we will send you a copy of swatches by mail to your property, therefore enabling you to see your fabric choices.
Step 4. A detailed estimate will be sent to you within 7 days. Or if required our "PLATINUM Service" will provide this is 1-3 days. This provides full details of our meeting, fabric and costs.
Step 5. Upon your approval of the estimate, work will begin and a booking will be made for your first fitting date. All fabrics will be ordered and hardware will be fitted at this stage, e.g. tracks, poles etc. A full check measure will then be taken to ensure 100% accuracy.
Step 6. A member of Michael Moore Interiors will contact you and arrange the final fitting. All work will be hung and dressed and steamed (as required) leaving an amazing transformation to your property. All works are fully guaranteed.
Step 7. Our interior design service covers everything including measuring estimating, choosing Fabrics, Trimmings, Blinds, poles and tracks. An interior design consultation only costs from £35 and if your total order is over £500 we will refund the cost of our services. Just book our interior designer and they will come to you in the comfort of your property.
